Book Guild monster-hunting manual How to Catch a Jabberwock has been wowing crowds in Yorkshire this week, as Major Jack Union brought his own particular brand of magic to Waterstones in Bradford. 

The bookshop was full of adults dressed head to toe in steampunk regalia, and children who had entered the shop's competition to draw a monster for the Major to hunt.

The major himself was dressed in full Victorian army uniform, and had brought his set of props with him, complete with shrunken head and vampire hunting stake. 

Major Jack Union is also due to headline the Penzance Literary Festival on the 28th July, so do come along and meet the Major!
