Book Guild author Brian Watson has a string of author events lined up this winter to promote his nostalgic gift book Black Jacks, Fruit Salads and Cricket Stumps on the Wall.  The book, which Dame Judi Dench has described as "charming and affectionate" is a witty look back at life in Britain during the post-war years.  An old-fashioned "bobby" is present as his events, making sure people behave themselves!
